Designing Success: Unveiling the Story Behind Fox Hollow’s New Logo

Introduction

POLISHED. APPROACHABLE. CONFIDENT. UNEXPECTED. HUMBLE. These are the short list of adjectives assembled upon contracting Sussner Design to help us with the new logo at Fox Hollow.

THE ANTI-PRIVATE CLUB

Ownership change in the spring of 2022 meant a new, fresh vision for Fox Hollow. The new logo enhances that vision into all of their actions. Fox Hollow is a public club designed to make private clubs jealous. No judgmental snobbiness, no guarded gates, no pre-requisite member interviews. Created for people who come early and stay late. This is a club with its own gravitational pull.

Color Theory

Midnight Fire

The use of black and white represents the formality and tradition of golf, while the use of orange creates a visual connection to foxes, add warmth and friendliness to the design. Creating a dynamic and energizing atmosphere.

Typography

Even the font was well-thought out. Industry Bold matches the choice adjectives used the create the logo.

Looking Forward: The Logo in Action

Roughly one year into unveiling the logo and it’s making its impact on our community. Apparel and bags flew off the shelves, new flags have improved the vibes on the course, and we’ve begun to cement ourselves as the Anti-Private Club.

Conclusion

Not everyone is going to be happy with the changes new ownership is making. Our goal isn’t to make everyone happy, our goal is to continue to develop into being the best golf course in Minnesota. We have a long ways to go and a logo is simply only a step.
